In a recent interview Dr. Dre claimed that his album Detox, which has guest appearances from Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Nas, should be released before the end of the year.

“I’m just now — over the last couple of months — starting to feel that it’s going to be right and it’s something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it,” Dr. Dre told USA Today. “In a perfect world, I’m shooting for a November or December release.”

“We have an entirely new thing going with the drums that’s incredible, and we’re still developing that,” he said about his beats.

After the album has been release, Dr. Dre will go back behind the scenes and work with other artists to create another masterpiece.

In the past 2 months DMX has been arrested four times, and just yesterday (July 19) he was arrested in a Phoenix Mall.

X managed to walk away from a $7,500 bill from a hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona in April by using the alias “Troy Jones”.

DMX, real name Earl Simmons, has been arrested for suspicion of giving false information, including a name and social security number.

Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy was stabbed in Dekalb County, treated and then taken to jail.

A spokesman for Dekalb County Police said Lil Scrappy received a call from his sister saying she had been in an arguement with her boyfriend. Shortly after, Lil Scrappy, along with authorities, went to his sister’s apartment and become involved in an altercation with his sister’s boyfriend which led to his stabbing.

His sister’s boyfriend was not arrested but Lil Scrappy was listed in stable condition.

Lil Scrappy was arrested for for possession of marijuana, felony possession of a firearm/knife, and obstruction of authorities.

The rapper remained in jail Saturday afternoon on $1,500 bond.

Four years have passed and Eminem’s label has finally confirmed that the rapper is back in the studio working on his 6th studio album.

“Em is excited,” According to Bishop Lamont, a protege of Dr. Dre, “He’s been quiet too long and he’s got a lot to get off his chest.”

Eminem took a break after the death of his close friend in a Detroit bar shooting in 2006.

“He went through what he had to go through,” Lamont continues. “And now he’s been able to take all the pain and stress and put it out in his music.”
